Restaurant: Position needed Cook/Food Prep – San Jose Rose Garden Area
We are currently seeking a part time Cook/ Food Prep position at Café Rosalena which is located in San Jose Calif. Café Rosalena is a successful restaurant that has been in the same location for over 30 years! Our focus is Breakfast Burrito’s and Specialty Salads in addition to other delicious breakfast and lunch meals. Many loyal customers know us for our famous Orange Sauce!
Our customer base is very unique, it is a combination of business people, families from nearby neighborhoods, college students from Santa Clara University and San Jose State. A large percentage of our business as catering on site to various companies and organizations in the Bay area.

COOK/ Food Prep
- General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
-Preparing various types of sandwiches, salads.
-Preparing various kinds of breakfast burritos
-Work with other cooks on our staff with a team approach
-Ability to work with our sales counter staff in order to meet the needs of special customer requests
-Food preparation
-Assist in the end of the day clean up

We serve the public seven days a week. Mon-Sat 6AM- 2PM, Sun 7AM-2PM therefore no night shifts; your evenings are off!
Days/Hours of current position: Saturday and Sunday ONLY from 7AM -2PM (Approx 14 hours per week) starting out but this could expand to additional hours and days based on our needs such as other employees wanting to take time off, sick leave as well as expected growth in sales.
